Hi all,
I'm currently reading a book titled "Happier" and i will be practicing some of the recommendations listed in the book to leading a happier life (though as of now i feel quite contended and happy ehehehe) Anyways, the first task in the book was to write each day a list of things you are grateful for. so here is my list for over the weekend.
Stuff I'm grateful for:
- having my aunt from aussie land fly in and spending time with everyone over a good meal at Fullerton Hotel Jade Restaurant. Nana zeh + husband and Shane were present too!
- having jar's company throughout the weekend together with my family and time out with the animals i love the most, dogs, at the Singapore kennel club dog show.
- the privilege of having enough in my pocket to indulge in shopping
- the blessing of a mother who cares for me and who has told me she will pay for my school fees when she previously told me she wanted me to pay them on my own cos she wanted me to be serious about sch. now that ive graduated, she's paying for my school fees. weee! i tot i was going to be in S$18K debt!
- the wonderful pictures i can capture on my phone to remind me of the happy moments :D

on the week of the 20th anniversary death anniversary of my dad, doctors diagnosed me with the very thing that killed him. asthma. nothing serious just that the heart condition i have complicates things a little. mom's showing signs of concern and worry (not a good thing for a women always so reserved, controlled and expressionless). to those who matter, no worries... i have no intention of dying suddenly just yet. will take my meds and live on strong. and come on guys, im not exactly a weakling.. i can pull through. it;s not like ive not been there before. with ur support im sure i can do it. =)

[[Chinese New Year Fever - Literally]]
Yeah man..
it was the second day of the chinese new year and i fell terribly ill... flue fever sorethroat headache, u name it i got it. temperature was at a high of 38.6 degrees C. was feeling kinda sluggish.
tomorrow is valentine's day ! wonder wads going to happen... excited and scared all at the same time. =)
feeling super sleepy now... cant think of smart stuff to say.. oh well..

Hi all,
after what seems like a 1 year hitus, i'm back! painstakingly deleted/removed all the pass 298 blog spots one by one (there is no button to do it all in one shot).
Growing up
ok what's the deal with me now? im still all but 1.59 m tall. unfortunately i cant say the same for my weight :S i decided to remove all the previous posts cos i wan to start on a clean slate. reading through some of the previous post made me realise how superficial and childish i have been. hopefully i have grown up a little since then. oh well... for one i swear less or almost not at all now *grin* Hopefully this new blog will contain more interesting and mature content.
Work
no longer a student now. im currently working as a advertising sales planner for a global news company. it's a fun job with cool people. of course it comes along with it's stresses as well. been here for about 8 months now and looking to stay furture i hope.
Life in general
im still very much the same old person. still as spunky as ever. but i must admit ive grown to be more spectical of things and people in general. since the last u heard from me, ive's take up basic hip hop and waltz. currently doing intermediate jazz ballet (hoping to go back and finish grade 7 and may get my ballet diploma eventually) curently also looking into taking salsa and the violin.
love life wise, dont want to reveal too much =) ive learnt to lve quietly and tread softly. happy as i am now, i dun expect too much out of anything, as they say, the more u expect the higher the disappointment. so far, im just taking it one step at a time =)
ramblings ahead
stay tunned for more ramblings, more quotes, more random prose either from myself or from books i have read. been reading much more now compared to my school days. reading more good books lately has definately enriched me so much more. life's too short to waste time on reading too much thrash =)
